More
than any other musical genre, the Blues take root from deep in the
soul. That makes them pure, unmitigated attitude. And what is attitude
but the essence of moods? And when attitude comes at you with an
intensity that shakes you to the core, well, you get
Rude
Mood.
Rude Mood is Don Brown and Jamie Trollinger sharing guitar duties,
Michael 'Guido' Wyatt on bass, and Keith Hamlin behind the drum kit. They're
the kind of Blues band that plays the festival/club/party circuit,
and gets asked back often.
For the past seventeen years, they've been gigging around western NC,
drawing those crowds who appreciate the way the band combines it's
musical virtuosity with a sense of fun on stage. And hardcore blues
fans also appreciate how Rude Mood digs deep and reels off a whole
string of obscure gems, not just the usual handful of well-known
Rhythm & Blues standards.
Rude Mood is usually playing somewhere each and every weekend. They're
in that enviable position of being able to pick and choose their
jobs now. And one thing is certain, no matter where they're playing,
the audience is going to get one hell of a good show! And if you
happen to be in one of those audiences, get ready to enjoy being
in a Rude Mood yourself!
